Air Conditioner Replacement Service

Feel Comfortable in Your Own Skin & Your Own Home!

The most important part of the air conditioner shopping process is research. Understanding your home’s needs, your own needs, and the right machine for the job could help you save countless dollars and give you years of comfort and efficiency. In fact, it’s not true that the biggest air conditioner is always the best one. Compact units are more effective for homes of certain sizes.

The Different Varieties of AC Systems

We offer and install the industry’s whole range of air conditioner types:

  • Split system & package AC systems
  • Ductless mini-splits
  • Portable, window, and wall units
  • Evaporative coolers / swamp coolers

Should You Repair or Replace?

The first thing you’ll want to confirm (especially if your air conditioner is giving you trouble) is whether it would be better to repair your unit. Sometimes, air conditioner repair is far more effective option—many units might have years of good service left in them, even when something malfunctions.

The main factors that you should base your decision on are:

  • Inspect your air filter, Check out your air filters once a month. Dirty filters always need to be cleaned or replaced. Clogged filters can overstress your system, leading to more costly damage down the road (as well as a less efficient system).

  • Keep it clean. Do your best to keep the individual parts of your AC unit clean and tidy. Using a shop vac to clear away dirt and other debris in your unit and ducts is a fairly quick and easy way to do this. Wipe things down when you can, and make this a regular practice.

  • Give the unit some breathing room. Your unit should have a lot of clearance around it, especially for outdoor units. Brush away dirt or mud, prune branches and bushes, and in general just keep the area clear. It makes your yard look attractive and protects your unit from contaminants.

Our technicians aren’t just experts at heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; we’re experts in understanding what people truly need. If your system only needs repairs, our team will let you know and equip you to make the best decision for your home. If you’re already set on replacement, we’ll get to work on evaluating your home and giving you a list of AC units that give you what you’re looking for!

Benefits of an Energy-Efficient Air Conditioner

Energy efficiency laws put a minimum SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) rating of 13 on new units. That means you could potentially save a great deal of money on replacing your unit, both short-term and long-term. There are also multiple rebates and grants available periodically through Natural Resources Canada.

With an energy-efficient model, you can stand to gain:

  • Energy savings — AC units account for 50% of energy usage in summer. Energy efficient machines could provide savings up to 30%.
  • Improved comfort — New units have more power for less energy consumption. Their mechanisms also reduce temperature fluctuations.
  • Environmental responsibility — These machines lighten your carbon footprint by a significant amount.
