  • Brad Gibson

    Brad Gibson

I started my career in construction while working a summer job as a carpenter assistant at the age of 15, and found a passion for hard work and helping people to better their home and environment. I switched careers from carpentry to plumbing and became a Master Plumber and Gasfitter. I have over three decades of HVAC and plumbing experience in both the residential and commercial sectors; as well as project management. I regularly attend national training sessions to learn about customer satisfaction and the latest trends for indoor air quality solutions within the HVAC industry. I also enjoy a good Netflix binge on cold winter days, travelling and spending time with my wife and children, swimming and camping. As a native to Thunder Bay, I truly love what I do; alongside my wife Kelly we will continue to serve our community of Thunder Bay.

I am eager to continue helping others while working alongside my husband Brad in a new role as office manager. Originally from the small town of Terrace Bay, I am pleased to extend our services from Thunder Bay to all of the small communities along the North Shore including Manitouwadge, Nipigon, Schreiber and Terrace Bay. On days off I love spending time with my children camping, skiing and swimming.

    Professional Service Technician

I started my new career at Aire Serv of Thunder Bay near the end of November 2018. I started working in the heating and air conditioning business as a duct cleaner back in 2002. In 2005, I applied myself, having taken the next step and became a fully licensed Natural Gas and Fuel Oil Tech. I have worked for various heating companies in my home of Thunder bay and in Grande Prairie, Alberta. I also spent some time in British Columbia where I also fine tuned my skills. I have always found that the best way to help people find the best solutions for their heating problems is by giving a good listening ear and working with them to make sure their needs and wants are met. I have found that no two people are alike in what makes them comfortable so this is key in our recommendations. When I'm not busy helping people with their home heating concerns, you can usually find me on the lanes bowling in a league or at the local gym. During the summer months, I'm at the ball diamond swinging for the fences or missing a big catch! Haha! I also enjoy spending time with my family out at the lake camping and fishing! I look forward to meeting you and helping you with any of your heating problems.

I have been working in HVAC since the age of 15 and am constantly trying to increase and fine tune my skills after majoring in refrigeration and sheet metal in high school. I started an apprenticeship in refrigeration and Air Conditioning at a young age and got my G2 Gas license immediately during apprenticeship upgrading to a G1 shortly after. Ongoing education with Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) and Hydronic heating. I am car enthusiast and love spending time racing or at my camp. I can often be found out on the track burning rubber! I have 2 sons and I enjoy spending time with my family. I look forward to helping fix and educate you on all of your HVAC needs and prolonging the life of your unit!

    Professional Service Technician

I've been working for Mr. Gibson for the last 3 years, growing my mechanical skill set and quickly learning the heating and cooling industry after beginning my career in plumbing. One day I was delivering pizza when Brad asked if I would like to join his team. In early 2018 an opportunity arose and Brad asked if i would like to further develop my skills by joining his Aire Serv family, I was thrilled! As a family man with values rooted in trust, communication and honesty I was very impressed by Aire Servs company commitments to their values and to their customers. We still recite the Code of Values almost daily! Born in Thunder Bay I have strong roots to the community and when I am not running calls in town, I can probably be found at the dog park, trying to tire out our new puppy with my daughter or running errands for my wife. I spend my summers between our family camps in Ignace and Armstrong or at the ball diamond with friends or the beach with my young family and friends. I spend a good portion of my down time getting lost in the music by playing my guitar and of course, binge watching Netflix. I look forward to meeting you and helping bring your Home Comfort System to life and exceeding your expectations in the process.
